once upon a time i bought a camera, and my roommate consented to be my practice dummy. so i took lots and lots of photos of her. then i promised her i'd take pictures at her wedding, even though i dont shoot weddings. then i had a baby, then got my gallbladder out the week of her wedding. photos a no go, and i felt lame. so we took bridals instead. enter a bazillion photos for kerissa.

a most magical tree

all I have to say is that i love this tree and it makes me happy. maybe one day i will walk through it and find myself in middle earth. oh what a happy day that would be!

Songbird

 

This next one is the reason I've labeled Em's post "Songbird." You see, she sings. Has quite honestly a magical voice, piano skills, guitar skills, writing skills, and talent higher than the moon. Some friendships started as young as jr high and high school can last a lifetime. Em is one of those. Her dad has talent too. 

a new roommate = new pictures

an image heavy post, but we had lots of fun in the snow. that is, until our fingers fell off.
